Hi. I hope this is the right place to post this. My Latvian is not too good..
In summer 2013 I will be cycling from the Netherlands (where I live) to the North Cape in Norway, passing through Latvia. On past cycle trips, I have found that it is important to find good cycle routes before leaving. Otherwise, it is easy to end up on main roads with lots of traffic.
I have put together a planned route, and am looking for suggestions of updating it. I plan to follow the coast in Latvia, and then further north in Estonia. Here are my planned routes for Latvia and Estonia:
I heard that it is quite difficult leaving Riga to the north without cycling along a freeway.
Have any of you got any tips about leaving Riga and in general? I would be very interested in hearing them..
